How to Restore from Backup
Introduction
This guide explains how to restore system data using the Time Machine module in RingQ. The restore process allows administrators to recover system configurations and data from a previously created backup file, ensuring business continuity in case of data loss, system issues, or configuration errors.
Restoring a Backup
1. Log in to your RingQ Admin Dashboard
2. Navigate to:
Settings → Global → Time Machine
3. From the list of configured backups, select the backup file you want to use.
4. Click the Restore button.
5. The system will automatically generate and store the backup file in the configured file path or storage destination (e.g., Local Disk, FTP, SFTP, or AWS S3, depending on your setup).
6. After completing all required fields, click Save to apply and store the configuration.
