Using the “Whiteboard” Feature

Introduction

This guide explains how to use the Whiteboard feature in RingQ Meet. The Whiteboard provides a shared workspace where meeting participants can draw, write, and collaborate visually in real time. You’ll learn how to access the Whiteboard during a meeting and use its tools to support collaboration and idea sharing.

Using the Whiteboard

Select the Whiteboard feature in RingQ Meet

1. During an active meeting, click on the Whiteboard Icon as shown above. The Whiteboard provides a set of tools that allow users to draw, annotate, and manage content during meetings and collaboration sessions.

Board Controls & Drawing Tools

• On the tool bar at the top of the Whiteboard, you will first find a Pen tool, which enables freehand writing/drawing. The Color Selection menu allows you to modify the color and even select a custom color. Beside this is the Line Size menu (Stroke) to choose the size of the line to be drawn.
  

• Click on the Highlight tool and freehand draw. Use in combination with the Color Selector and Line Size tools to emphasize items on the Whiteboard.

• The Eraser tool allows you to remove specific elements from the whiteboard with freehand movement.

• The Text Tool enables the host to type words or sentences to present to the attendees. Use this in combination with the Color Selector and Text Size tool to customize the Text.

• The Shape Tool allows you to draw Rectangles, Circles, Straight Lines and Lines with an arrow. Use this tool in conjunction with the Color Selection and Line Size controls to customize your shapes.

Undo & Redo buttons

• The Undo button allows the user to reverse the most recent action or a series of actions, while the Redo button allows the user to repeat the last action that was undone using the undo button.

• Zoom Controls allows the user to zoom in or out on the Whiteboard and also Fit to Screen. It also displays the current zoom rate on the right.
  

Eraser tool

• Once your Whiteboard drawing is complete, click on the burger menu on the far right of the tool bar for Additional Controls. You can Present your drawing to all participants, Export this drawing as a PNG image, or Clear the Whiteboard so you can create another drawing.
