How to Schedule a Meeting in RingQ Meet


Introduction

This guide explains how to create and schedule a video meeting using RingQ Meet. Scheduling a meeting lets you invite participants in advance, set access permissions, and manage the meeting’s timing with ease.

Scheduling a Meeting

1. Log in to the RingQ Web App.

2. Click the RingQ Calendar button in the top menu bar.

3. Select Schedule to expand the menu, and then click on the “Create” button.

4. Complete all the required information to schedule your meeting:

  • All Day – enable this if the meeting does not have a fixed time
  • Date – enter the date of your meeting
  • Duration – select how long the meeting should last
  • Start time – select a time for the meeting to start
  • End Time – select a time for the meeting to end
  • Timezone – select the correct time zone or your meeting
  • Meeting Title – Add a title for your meeting
  • Internal Users – Select any of your colleagues from the internal users dropdown window

5. Scroll down the menu to fill in the remaining information:

  • Email address – enter the email addresses of the participants or co-host. Add multi addresses by separating with a coma.
  • Repeat meeting – select if this is a recurring event
  • Who can bypass the lobby – select which participants can enter the meeting without awaiting approval
  • Details – add any meeting notes, agenda or any other relevant details.

6. The final menu is Host Permissions, which allows a Host to lock cameras, microphones, permit requests for camera or microphones from participants, admit everyone automatically, and also enable co-hosts to manage media.

  • When finished, click the “Create” button and this event will be automatically added to your RingQ Calendar.
