RingQ Customer Centric Communications

Call Landing for Non Queue Calls

Introduction

Call Landing in RingQ makes handling non-queue calls faster and more intuitive by automatically surfacing the information that matters the moment the phone rings. When a direct call comes in — whether to an extension, a ring group, or a personal line — Call Landing can open a linked CRM page, trigger an external URL, or display a local contact record instantly. Instead of searching for details mid-conversation, users get immediate context, helping them respond confidently, reduce handling time, and deliver a smoother caller experience.

In the Call Landing window, find the Call Landing option and click it to open the dropdown:

  • Open Local Contact: Determines what information is shown to an agent when an inbound call is received. When this option is selected, the system automatically looks up the caller in the application's local contact database.
  • Open External URL or CRM: Automatically opens a third-party web page or CRM record the moment an inbound call arrives. Instead of using local contacts, the platform routes the agent directly to an external resource you've configured.
  • Open Both: Combines the local contact page and an external URL/CRM. When an inbound call arrives, the system opens both simultaneously. Use this in environments where agents need internal contact data and external system data together on an incoming call.
