RingQ now speaks Arabic: a mobile app that reads right to left
The RingQ mobile app now works fully in Arabic, with the whole layout mirrored to read right to left. Here is what changes and how to switch.

Arabic reads from right to left. An app that only translates the words, but keeps everything laid out from left to right, still feels foreign to an Arabic reader. The RingQ mobile app now does both: the text is in Arabic, and the whole layout turns around to read the way you do.
The RingQ mobile app now has full Arabic support, including a mirrored right-to-left layout, on iPhone and Android.

More than a translation
When you switch to Arabic, the screen is mirrored, not just translated. The keypad, the lists, the tabs and the back button all move to the side an Arabic reader expects, and text lines up from the right.
That is an accessibility feature, not a cosmetic one. Reading direction is part of reading comfort. When the layout fights the language, people slow down and make mistakes, and on a phone system a mistake can be a missed call.

How to switch to Arabic
- On the Home screen, tap your avatar in the corner to open My Profile.
- Tap Language.
- Choose العربية. Every language is shown in its own writing, so you can find Arabic even if the app is currently set to a language you do not read.

The first time you switch to or from Arabic, RingQ restarts once to apply the new reading direction. It takes a moment, and the app comes back mirrored.

Arabic next to English names and numbers
Real contact lists mix scripts. Names saved in English letters and phone numbers appear next to Arabic labels without breaking the layout, so a screen full of both stays easy to read.
One of 20 languages
Arabic is one of 20 languages in the RingQ app, so a team can mix them. A language can be set for the whole company in the web portal, and every person can still choose their own. A front desk can work in Arabic while the manager next to them uses English, on the same phone system.
Prefer not to choose? Leave it on Automatic. RingQ then follows the language set for your extension in the RingQ web portal, or your phone's own language.
Your choice is saved to your RingQ account, so the web portal shows the same language. One setting, everywhere.
