Generic SMS Provider Setup in RingQ (Any HTTP API)
Use Generic when your SMS provider is not in the list. It works with any provider that sends messages through an HTTP API and can call a webhook when a customer texts you. You will need your provider's API documentation.
Add the number in RingQ
- Sign in to the RingQ web app as an admin.
- Go to Global Settings › Chat Settings.
- In the provider list, choose SMS numbers (all providers) and click Add SMS number.
- Pick Generic (Any provider with an HTTP API).
- Enter a short Name and the Phone number with country code.
