Deploying RingQ on Google Cloud Marketplace

Introduction


This guide walks you through the steps of deploying RingQ directly from the Google Cloud Marketplace. You’ll learn how to launch, configure, and get your RingQ instance up and running quickly using Google Cloud’s infrastructure.

Deploying from Google Cloud


1. Navigate to https://console.cloud.google.com/marketplace/product/ringq-public/ringq and log in. 2. If you don’t already have an account, you will need to create one.

If you have multiple Projects in your Google account, select the one you want to install RingQ in.

3. Click Launch and if you are prompted to enable some Google APIs, enable them to proceed.Deploying RingQ Cloud PBX from Google Cloud marketplace.
4. In the deployment form that appears, fill in the:

  • Deployment name: This will also control how the VM and all other related resources will be named.
  • Zone: Select a zone that is the closest to where your RingQ Users are.
  • Deployment Service Account: You can either reuse an existing service account if you have one with the listed roles or create a new one by entering a Service account name and Service account ID for it.

Select machine size.
5. Next select the Machine type and Boot disk size:

  • 2 vCPUs / 4GB Memory / 25GB Standard Persistant Disk (or higher): Suitable for most installations.
  • 4 vCPUs / 8GB Memory / 25GB Balanced Persistant Disk (or higher): For a moderate to high number of users.
  • 8 vCPUs / 16GB Memory / 40GB SSD Persistant Disk (or higher): For very large number of users.

6. Scroll to the end of the page and press Deploy and wait for the deployment wizard to create all resources.

7. From the Google Cloud menu, go to the Compute Engine > VM Instances to find your new RingQ VM.

8. Click on your VM, press Edit and:

  • Expand the Network interfaces, select the External IPv4 address drop-down and select Reserve static external IP address, then give it a name and press Reserve.
  • Scroll down to the Network tags section and make note of the Network tag name.

9. Press Save.

10. From the Google Cloud menu, go to Google VPC Network > Firewall and press Create firewall rule.Google Cloud Marketplace for RingQ Cloud PBX
11. In the Rule creation form:

  • Set the Name to: ringq-rtp-ports
  • Set the Target tag to the value you noted in step #8.
  • Set the Source IPv4 range to: 0.0.0.0/0
  • Set the UDP port value to: 16384-32768

12. Press Create.

13. Go back to Compute Engine > VM Instances and find the External IP of your VM.

14. Open a new tab in your browser and go to https://[External IP]:8443/license.

15. Enter your RingQ License Key and press Activate.RingQ license activated
16. Once the License Activation finishes, your RingQ installation is complete, and you can access your instance!
