The RingQ Admin Dashboard

Introduction

This guide provides an overview of the RingQ System Dashboard, detailing the layout, purpose, and function of each component. It is designed to help administrators and partners effectively monitor system performance, license status, and extension activity.

System Status (Top Graph)

Purpose

Displays real-time system performance metrics across different operational hours.

Explanation

  • The wave graph represents system activity over time (e.g., call traffic, process utilization, or system polling frequency).
  • Each dot on the curve indicates a sampled data point (hourly or per-minute interval).
  • The higher the peak, the greater the system utilization.

Usage Tips

  • Use this to visually detect traffic peaks or system slowdowns.
  • Hover over points (in live system) to view exact utilization metrics.

System Resources Overview (Right Side Metrics)

These indicators show the current usage of server resources hosting your RingQ instance.

Usage Tips

  • High values (> 80%) may indicate the need for resource scaling or process optimization.
  • Hover over the info icon (ℹ️) for details on current system load.

Extensions Overview (Top-Right Circle Graph)

Purpose

Monitors registration status of all RingQ extensions.

Example: Total Extensions: 35 Registered: 21 Unregistered: 14

Usage Tips

Monitoring & Maintenance Recommendations

1. Check System Usage Weekly

  • Monitor CPU and memory usage trends.
  • If CPU exceeds 85%, consider increasing vCPU allocation.

2. Review Extension Status Daily

  • Ensure majority are registered.
  • Investigate unregistered devices for network or credential issues.

3. Validate License & Version

  • Track expiration date early.
  • Keep the version updated for latest security patches and features.

4. Backup Configuration Regularly

  • Especially before major updates or tenant migrations.

Call Activity Table (New Section)

Call Activity status

This panel displays real-time and historical call activity for monitoring and troubleshooting.

Usage Tips

  • Green highlight = active call in progress.
  • Blue rows = calls currently ringing or waiting.
  • The Action button allows you to manually end a call or remove a stuck session.
  • “NA” in Rule or Route means no custom routing was triggered.

This table is ideal for real-time monitoring, queue observation, and diagnostics.

Summary

This dashboard gives a comprehensive real-time overview of your RingQ PBX system, focusing on:

  • Performance metrics (Disk, Memory, CPU)
  • License & partner details
  • Extension and trunk registration
  • Live call tracking

Together, these elements allow administrators to maintain uptime, monitor performance, and quickly detect anomalies.
