Call Landing for Non-Queue Calls

Introduction

Call Landing in RingQ makes handling non-queue calls faster and more intuitive by automatically showing the information that matters as soon as the phone rings. When a direct call comes in — whether to an extension, a ring group, or a personal line — Call Landing can open a linked CRM page, trigger an external URL, or display a Local Contact record instantly. Instead of searching for details while speaking to the caller, users get immediate context, helping them respond confidently, reduce handling time, and create a smoother caller experience.

Setting Up Call Landing

Configuring Call Landing in RiungQ for non-queue calls.
1. Login to your RingQ Admin Dashboard → Settings → Global → Call Landing

Select the Call Landing option in RingQ
2. In the Call Landing window, locate the Call Landing option. Click on it to display the dropdown:

  • Call Landing Open Local Contact: The Call Landing feature determines what information is automatically displayed to an agent when an inbound call is received. When the option Open Local Contact is selected, the system performs an automatic lookup against the application’s local contact database.
  • Call Landing Open External URL or CRM: This setting allows the system to automatically open a third-party webpage or CRM record the moment an inbound call arrives. Instead of pulling from local contacts, the platform routes the agent directly to an external resource you’ve configured.
  • Call Landing Open Both: The Open Both setting combines the behavior of the internal contact page and an external URL/CRM. When an inbound call arrives, the system launches bith options simultaneously. This option is intended for environments where agents need both internal contact data and external system data when a call comes in.
