Introduction
AI Listener is RingQ Meet’s intelligent transcription tool designed to enhance accessibility and boost productivity. By providing real-time transcription and automated summaries of spoken content, AI Listener ensures that key information is captured, searchable, and easy to review—during and after your meetings.
In this guide, you’ll learn how to activate and use the AI Listener feature to make your meetings more inclusive, efficient, and action-oriented.
Activating the AI Listener tool
1. Before entering the meeting, a confirmation prompt will ask if the room owner wants to activate the AI Listener.
2. If AI Listener was not activated prior to the start of the meeting, you can enable it during the meeting. Locate and click on the AI Listener button in the meeting controls. This button is represented by an icon that resembles a microphone with sound waves.
Other AI Options
- Meeting Details: provides information such as the date, time, and agenda of the meeting. It’s essential for understanding context before engaging with the AI Listener.
- Live Captioning: transcribes spoken dialogue in real-time, displaying captions on screen. This helps participants follow discussions more easily, especially in noisy environments or for those with hearing impairments.
- Summarize Meeting: this feature uses AI to generate a concise overview of key points discussed, action items, and decisions made during the meeting.
