Configuring the Snom D150 IP Phone with RingQ
Introduction
This guide walks you through the process of configuring your Snom D150 IP phone to work seamlessly with RingQ. Whether you’re setting up a brand-new device or updating an existing one, you’ll learn how to register your phone, apply the correct settings, and get it ready to make and receive calls using RingQ’s VoIP platform.
Important Notes
- Factory Reset Required: If the Snom D150 was previously connected to another PBX, perform a factory reset before configuration.
- Naming Rules: Avoid using special characters in extension names, display names, or BLF labels.
- Firmware: Ensure the Snom D150 is running the latest firmware for best performance and compatibility.
Obtain the MAC Address

1. From the Snom web interface, navigate to System Information.
2. Locate and copy the MAC Address of the device.
Add the Device to RingQ Auto Provisioning

1. Go to the RingQ Auto Provisioning page under your extension.
2. Set the IP Phone Brand to Snom.

3. Select Snom D150 as the model.
4. Paste the MAC Address into the MAC Address field. 
5. Select the appropriate Time Zone. 
6. The STUN Server will auto-populate. 
7. Click Add to add the device to the provisioning list.
8. Click Update to apply changes.
Get the Provisioning Link

1. Return to the Auto Provisioning page.
2. Locate the newly registered Snom D150 from your device list.
3. Click the Copy button to copy the Provisioning URL.
Apply the Provisioning URL to the Snom D150

1. On the Snom D150 web interface, go to Advanced Settings.
2. Click the Update tab.
3. Locate the Setting URL field.
4. Paste the Provisioning URL you copied from RingQ.
5. Click Apply.

6. Click Reboot to restart the phone.
1. After rebooting, go to Status → System Information on the Snom D150.
2. Verify that the device has successfully downloaded the configuration and registered with RingQ.
