Introduction

Integrating Cliniko with RingQ allows healthcare practices to streamline patient communication, reduce missed calls, and improve the overall appointment experience. By connecting your practice management system with your business phone platform, your team can access patient information faster, automate call workflows, and deliver a more responsive service to every patient interaction.

This guide will walk you through the process of integrating Cliniko with RingQ, covering the setup requirements, configuration steps, and key features you can enable once the integration is complete. Whether you want to improve inbound call handling, enable click-to-call functionality, or synchronize patient communication workflows, this integration can help your clinic operate more efficiently while maintaining a professional and seamless patient experience.

Cliniko Configuration

1. Navigate to your Cliniko login URL in your browser and login to your Cliniko account.

2. On the dashboard, click the My Info field under the Modules and Submodules section.

3. Open the My Info section and customize the user details ie. Name, last name etc.

4. Scroll down the page and click the Manage API Keys button. A new page will open displaying the relevant fields.

5. In the top-right corner, click on the Add an API Key button.

6. Open the New API Key page. Enter a unique name in the Name field, then click the Create API Key button.

7. Copy the generated key and then click the Done button.

RingQ Configuration

1. Login to your RingQ Admin Dashboard and navigate to Settings → Global Integrations → CRM → Cliniko

2. Select Cliniko.

3. Paste the API Key you copied in Cliniko to the field as shown above.

4. Fill in the remaining fields, username, password etc.

5. Enable Call Journaling and Contact Creation.

6. Click Save. A success message will be displayed as “Successfully updated CRM entry test”.

7.Create a new call to verify the queue permissions for Cliniko CRM

8. Click Queue field on Call flow page and select the Settings tab.

9. When a call is made through RingQ and the call is received and answered, the call details popup will appear in Cliniko, and the patient details will be added and can be verified.

10. When the call ends, the Cliniko call details will be added.
